Be inspired by The Art of Friendship exhibition to join printmaker, Hiroko Imada, and learn all about one of the techniques used to create Surimono prints, blind embossing. Karazuri, or empty printing, is one of the techniques that sets woodblock printmaking apart from many other types of printmaking. It is a relief method wherein a print is created without the use of any ink. During the workshop, you will create your own beautifully embossed print. Limited to 20 participants. €35 per person, material provided. Booking essential.
We require 7 days' notice of a cancellation; otherwise the full workshop fee must be paid. Credit card details are thus required in order to guarantee your place in the workshop and we will be in touch shortly to request these.
Small amendments may be made to the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances and we would appreciate your understanding.
This event is fully booked.
