Support the Library

Sir Alfred Chester Beatty made what is widely considered to be the most valuable gift ever given to the Irish nation but did not provide any endowment for its maintenance.

Today, as a national cultural institution, we receive grant-in-aid support from the Government for basic running costs but must increasingly rely on the generosity of our visitors, donors, members and sponsors for essential funds to develop our activities.

Your support enables us to deliver innovative programmes and events, present world-class exhibitions, conduct new research, and conserve the collections for future generations to enjoy. You can make a donation, become a Friend, join our Curator's Circle or partner with us as a Sponsor. However you choose to show your support, your involvement will make a difference. Thank you.
